The Rebrand

Affirm's brand makes borrowing feel honest. I led the 2025 rebrand, building a system where transparency and flexibility weren't claims the company made but properties the design actually had. The arch became a structural asset rather than a logo ornament—deliberately imperfect, its base stretched just past a true circle, because real financial journeys aren't clean arcs. Flexiglass, the texture language, is built on literal transparency and movement. The UI graphics carry a rule that they stay truthful to the in-app experience. And the photography moved away from curated perfection toward candid, unfiltered moments of how people actually live and shop. I led the work from strategy through the guidelines that let teams build on it.
